Our journey commences with the Contact Improv Workshop\, a transformative dance healing practice facilitated by Inara Sky. Through contact improvisation\, somatic exploration\, and authentic movement\, this practice aligns body\, mind\, and heart. No prior dance experience is needed as we foster a safe space for connection and growth\, guided by principles of non-judgment\, compassion\, patience\, and respect. Facilitating this empowering workshop is Inara Sky\, known for her expertise in delivering this profound experience throughout the PNW.\n\nOPENING CIRCLE AND DANCE : 8:30 – 11:00 pm\nFollowing the workshop\, take a moment to connect before joining us for the Opening Circle\, where we ground ourselves with Cacao and Microdoses\, for those who choose to partake\, with Isabella and Peter. It’s freeing\, it feels amazing and it’s so simple!”\nGreat job team!\n-Alex\n\n \nMy Microdosing Healing Journey:\n“After lots of therapy to heal from childhood trauma\, I still had depression and anxiety that would\ncreep in often. I was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder\, Generalized Anxiety Disorder\nand PTSD. The anti-depressant and anti-anxiety medication I was on helped\, but my PTSD\nwould still get triggered easily and I would become very depressed making it difficult to leave my\nbed and my home to take care of my needs. I had anxiety attacks that sometimes made it hard\nto breathe. \nI heard about microdosing psilocybin mushrooms for emotional healing and had the opportunity\nto take a microdose amount of a Troubadour Chocolate bar (troubadourchocolate.com) at a\nDose and Movement event (groupmeditationevent.com.) I enjoyed the shared experience of\nmicrodosing at the event\, dancing\, meditating and connecting with others. The facilitators\nhelped get me in the right state of mind to get the most out of my experience. On microdose\ndays\, I also like to walk in nature\, listen to music\, dance\, create art and journal (solutions to life’s\nproblems often come to me while microdosing\, due to the plant’s medicine clearing the mental\nclutter from my mind.) I’ve never experienced psychedelic effects from microdosing\, just a\nhappy and content feeling. \nAfter just a week of microdosing\, my PTSD didn’t get triggered as much. I didn’t have anything\nto talk about with my therapist anymore\, but almost booked an appointment 3 weeks after\nrunning out of my chocolate bar. As soon as I started microdosing again\, I knew microdosing\nwas the permanent solution for me and tapered completely off 200mg of Zoloft a day (the\nhighest dose) I was on for a year and substituted it with this beautiful plant medicine. Cannabis\nhelped me get through the horrible withdrawals (mood swings\, depression\, anxiety\, irritability\,\nfatigue\, digestive pain\, intense headaches\, body pain and profuse sweating) that lasted\napproximately two weeks. It can be dangerous to consume too much psilocybin mushrooms\nwhen you’re on antidepressants\, due to ‘serotonin syndrome.’ There are coaches\, guides and\nmedical professionals who can help with the transition. I also stopped taking my anti-anxiety\nmedication. Since microdosing\, I haven’t had any anxiety attacks. \nThe pharmaceuticals blunted my feelings (which I needed at the time) whereas microdosing\nhelps me feel my feelings and work through them without getting triggered from the past\,\ndepressed and wanting to emotionally shut down. My therapist told me I cannot fully heal from\ntrauma unless I feel my feelings and go through the grieving process to process my feelings in a\nhealthy way. Microdosing helps me get through the grieving process. The brain fog I felt from\nthe pharmaceutical lifted and opened me up to even more healing. The FDA has designated\npsilocybin mushrooms as a breakthrough therapy/medicine. I definitely agree. Instead of living\nso much in the past and worrying about my future\, I’m able to live in the present and enjoy my\nlife more. \nI found that 3-4 squares of the chocolate bar (less than a gram) every 3 days works best for me.\nI like that the chocolate bars have the amount of milligrams in each square\, making it easier to\nmicrodose and figure out the right amount for me. Psilocybin mushrooms irritate my tummy a \nlittle\, so I eat a little scoop of minced ginger to help. I don’t like the taste of psilocybin\nmushrooms and find chocolate is the best way to hide the taste. The chocolate bars are\ndelicious too. \nI’m on a mission to tell people about microdosing\, because it has helped me so much and I\nknow our world needs a lot of healing. This plant medicine\, along with finding the right therapist\n(for when I needed it)\, surrounding myself with a great community\, music\, dance and creating\nart has given me a new outlook on life. I had thoughts of suicide many times this past year\,\nbecause I couldn’t find a solution to get out of what I was feeling inside my head that was very\nhard to live with. I couldn’t even get out of my bed to dance\, which I love. With microdosing\, I\nhaven’t had those thoughts. Life isn’t perfect\, but it’s worth living now. This beautiful plant\nmedicine helped save my life and makes me happier. I want it to do the same for others who are\nsuffering. SUMMARY:Breath Awakening
DESCRIPTION:This offering is guided by One Heart Temple founded by Suntaya & Elohim (jerredandnatalie.com & IG)\, two powerful healers and practitioners with more than 7 years of experience guiding large groups.  In partnership with Peter Lucas of Full Spectrum Performance and Group Meditation Event\, we bring you Breath Awakening\, a cacao and breathwork ceremony. This is intended for all levels of practitioners that seek to open up their hearts with cacao and dive deep into their healing through this practice of breath. \nDoors Open: 1:30pm  \nWe encourage everyone aim to arrive at 1:30 (doors) open to reserve space and connect with the community. Ceremony begins promptly at 2:00pm. \nCeremony Duration: 2:00-5:00pm \nAfter time for integration\, snacks will be provided for further integration\, connection\, and community building. If able\, please bring a mug for cacao. Compostable cups will be available but let’s help reduce waste. Some blankets\, mats\, and pillows will be available\, but we always recommend bringing your own for your desired set up.
